Daniel sighed, glancing over at Olivia for a breif moment.

Olivia looked over at Daniel, "Well that was . . . ummm . . . that didn't go well," she said slowly.

He bit his lip slightly, maybe he shouldn't have been quite so rude...she'd tried to help him. But, figuring it was too late, tried to focus on beginning to read, tapping his finger on his desk, and fidgeting in his chair.

Olivia glanced over him after several moments, but decided not to say anything and looked back to her reading.

Daniel sighed, fidgeting in his chair some more, before realizing he hadn't even gotten through the first paragraph. Irritated with himself, he sighed deeply, closing his book, and looking around the room.

Olivia glanced at Daniel once more as he closed his book before going back to reading, finishing the last couple sentences as the bell rang and closing her book as she stood.

Daniel stood quickly, grabbing his things, practically jogging out of the room, pushing past one kid.

Olivia sighed as she made her way out of the room, wondering whether she should try to talk to Daniel before their next class . . . or simply wait and look for him at lunch . . . By the time she had made it out the door, she'd decided on lunch.
